My mother is a wonderful person. Anyone can make the case for how their mother is excellent, and they are all relative to our own personalities, situations, and worldviews. So, in honor of her birthday, we wanted to get her something. But my mother is an extremely hard person to buy for. If she needs something? She'll go out, spend a well-budgeted amount of money, and supply her well-kept household and wardrobe with said item. She's neither extravagant nor cheap.
Therefore, gift-giving is difficult.
As this was the last birthday my family could celebrate in the states (they moved to Guam not a month later) we wanted to make it big.
Therefore, we sent her and dad on a hot air balloon ride.
Best. Idea. Ever.
